Volunteerism and Emily Dickinson

I saw that Volunteerism will be the topic of i3's next issue -I really like the new design, by the way...- and as I was reading some Emily Dickinson's poems, I found one that especially fits with the topic. Hope you like it...

919
If I can stop one heart from breaking,
I shall not live in vain;
If I can ease one life the aching,
Or cool one pain,
Or help one fainting robin
Unto his nest again,
I shall not live in vain.
(1864)

919
Si evito que un corazón se rompa
no habré vivido en vano,
si alivio el dolor de una vida
o calmo una pena
o llevo un desfalleciente pecho colorado
de nuevo a su nido
no habré vivido en vano.
(1864)

Kafka

So, I want to start writing updates again. I'm very busy, but... I'll make an effort.

This is a quote by Kafka. I want you all to think about it... I will.

«Theoretically there is a perfect possibility of happiness: believing in the indestructible element in oneself and not striving towards it.»
